Cali Custom Furniture began the way most great things do — with a dissatisfaction with what was available. Our founder, a former architect with a deep respect for materiality and craft, couldn't find furniture that matched the quality of the homes he was designing.
So he built it himself. One piece at a time. Word spread. Clients began to ask. And a practice was born.
Today, we work with a small team of master craftspeople — woodworkers, upholsterers, metalworkers — each the best at what they do. Every piece that leaves our workshop has passed through dozens of hands and hundreds of decisions, each one made with care.
We don't believe in fast furniture. We believe in furniture that gets better with age, that tells a story, that becomes part of your family's history.
